As the data controller, Studio Cave has prepared this document to inform you about which personal data we process and for what purposes. In accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”), we hereby declare that the necessary measures have been taken to ensure the protection of your personal data. We process your personal data at all times in compliance with the law and the principles of good faith; by maintaining accuracy and up-to-date status; for specific, explicit, and legitimate purposes; in a manner relevant, limited, and proportionate to the purposes for which they are processed; and by retaining them for the period prescribed in the applicable legislation or as long as required by the purpose of processing.

 

Under Article 5 of the KVKK, your personal data cannot be processed without your explicit consent. However, in the presence of any of the following conditions, personal data may be processed without the need for explicit consent:

• When it is expressly permitted by law,

• When it is necessary to protect the life or physical integrity of the data subject or another person, who is unable to provide consent due to actual impossibility or whose consent is not legally valid,

• When the processing of personal data belonging to the parties to a contract is necessary, provided that it is directly related to the establishment or performance of that contract,

• When it is mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligations,

• When the data has been made public by the data subject,

• When it is mandatory for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right,

• When processing is necessary for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that such processing does not violate the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject.

Under Article 10 of the KVKK, your personal data will be processed in compliance with the notified purposes and scope, taking all necessary information security measures, and will be stored for the legally required retention period or, if no such period is stipulated, for as long as the processing purpose necessitates.

 

Studio Cave processes personal data in the form of records and electronically stores the name, surname, phone number, and e-mail address of its customers for the purpose of identifying them, facilitating communication between the Company and the Customer, and informing them about the services provided. The form records are collected only from the Turkish citizens as per the Law of Personal Data Protection ("KVKK").

Your personal data is stored in electronic media. Technical measures are implemented to ensure that the personal data obtained and stored by our Company are protected against unauthorized access, loss, or damage on the platforms where they are retained. Under no circumstances are your personal data shared with third parties.

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, as the data subject you are entitled to the following rights:

• To learn whether your personal data is being processed,

• To request information if your personal data has been processed,

• To learn the purpose of the processing of your personal data and whether they are used in accordance with the intended purpose,

• To know the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad,

• To request the rectification of incomplete or inaccurate personal data, and to request notification of such rectification to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,

• To request the deletion or destruction of personal data if the reasons requiring their processing no longer exist, even if they were processed in accordance with the law and relevant provisions, and to request that such deletion or destruction be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,

• To object to any outcome to the detriment of the data subject arising from the analysis of processed data exclusively through automated systems,

• To claim compensation in the event of damage arising from the unlawful processing of personal data.
